Our local and state police, fire, emergency response teams, SROs, and other members of our community and family members who serve in the medical field were present. Together, we remembered the events that took place on September 11, 2001. Our SRO at EMS, Patrick Carr, spoke to us about his experience working as part of the rescue and recovery team in New York City after the World Trade Towers collapsed. Our choir did an incredible job in singing several songs including "Wind Beneath My Wings" and "God Bless America". We ended our celebration with a video of several of our students expressing their heart-felt thanks to our 1st Responders. Before our guests left for the day, each were given small gifts of appreciation from our students.
